Business Development Director

Your main responsibilities:

• Seeking out and building business relationships with new clients from all over the world with core focus on Western Europe;
• Building a strong referral and lead generation network;
• Creating a network of contacts, promoting company positive image and increasing its market awareness;
• Maintaining relationships with existing clients and winning business from new ones;
• Upholding excellence in client relationships and ensuring customer loyalty through excellent customer service and meticulous attention to client’s business needs;
• Ensuring CRM is accurately and regularly updated in line with established procedures;
• Achieving agreed yearly targets and achieving all objectives as outlined by management;
• Participation in the development and implementation of strategies for new services offerings;
• Determining new opportunities by analyzing business needs;
• Providing accurate and timely reports of business development activities as directed;
• Serving as a lead facilitator both internally and externally for projects.

You have:

• At least 3 years of experience in business development/sales with 1-2 years of experience in a CRO;
• Specialized professional-level knowledge of the biopharmaceutical drug development market, its processes, outsourcing, and procurement;
• Excellent writing skills in English;
• Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Demonstrable strategic business awareness and results orientation;
• Pharma industry experience will be considered an advantage.
