International Clinical Trials’ Day
Cromos Pharma is proud to celebrate International Day of Clinical Trials and congratulates its partners and employees!
On this day, in 1747, the Scottish physician James Lind held his first study on 12 sailors suffering from scurvy. Based on the results, Lind’s suggestions were published in “A Treatise of the Scurvy” in 1753. (more –www.jameslindlibrary.org).
The date was internationally recognized in 2005 based on the suggestion of European Clinical Research Infrastructures Network (ECRIN) – a nonprofit organization – in order to facilitate international clinical trials in Europe. Thanks to this, awareness of the international community about the importance of clinical trials is increasing, changing the lives of patients all over the world.
We hope that this day will become a great tradition and an extra occasion to carry out various activities and events, contributing to the development of the clinical trials sector and collaboration of professionals internationally.
Cromos Pharma, where patients come first, congratulates all those involved in clinical trials and wishes you patience, strength and success!
