Key takeaways from Scope 2022
Cromos Pharma kicked off the event trail in February by participating in SCOPE 2022 in Orlando, Florida. Nicole Brenna, US Business Development Director, represented Cromos Pharma at the event which was well attended by vendors and Sponsors.
Following COVID protocols including mask-wearing, testing on site, and sanitizers, delegates were glad to be getting the chance to meet face-to-face again and catch up on how the sector has been transformed by the pandemic.
DECENTRALIZED CLINICAL TRIALS
Decentralized approaches to clinical trials featured strongly with many CROs touting their services and technology platforms. Presentations also featured decentralized trials and how the industry is getting to grips with virtual approaches including eConsent and at home monitoring of patients.
PATIENT CENTRICITY
Patient centricity was also a key topic for presentations and for delegates discussing ways to decrease patient burden in relation to clinical trial participation while also improving methods of patient recruitment. Alongside this there was much discussion about ways to promote greater diversity in terms of study participation.
NO PATIENTS – NO PAYMENT
Cromos Pharma held several meetings with Sponsors to discuss their clinical program plans. Nicole also took the opportunity to showcase our unique risk-sharing program “No Patients – No Payment” which was very well received.
We look forward to a busy spring participating in industry events and meeting with partners.
